Handleless Kitchen with a Charcoal Herringbone Wall

Kitchen interior design on one-wall spaces can be challenging, because everything sits in a tiny footprint. This one solves it with a bar.

A one-wall kitchen that leans on a single dramatic material, with a concrete-topped bar separating cooking from living.

One-wall layouts put every appliance in a single line, with no opportunity to create a triangle. The way around it is to give the room a second working surface, which is exactly what the concrete-topped bar does here.

The charcoal herringbone tile is the whole design. Run floor to ceiling behind the hob and integrated extractor, it carries the room on its own, so the cabinetry can stay handleless and completely plain without the space feeling unfinished.

Black wall ovens sit flush in the tall run to the right, and the bar seating faces back into the living space, which is what makes this layout work in an open plan.
